After a few drinks with the boys from "Have you seen the Batmobile" we wandered into the main square in Saint Omer in search of gruel. Whilst looking at a few menu's we were led astray by Sean and Tish from team Fuel Fire and Desire and Andy and Sam from Team Bayonet. After a few Leffe (Kay as you would expect John went for the cherry flavour) we all went off for the full banquet and large quantities of vin rouge and vin blanc (Sancere Alex of course). With a bit of pigeon french, lots of arm waving and plenty of speaking loudly and slowly we managed to order L'escargo (Snails in garlic) and beef stew. The night ended with full thunder storm and us all getting drenched. Back at the hotel (very loose description) a fight for the single bed was avoided when we found a stray matress on the landing (sorry whoever it was really left out for). Fortunately wine and leffe make you deaf so you dont notice the the snoring.
