What's better than a beer festival – a German wine festival with firework display (see video page, god bless apple). Apparently the Germans can make a good red wine (see photo). Raspeberries and apple with a wiff of vanilla and goes great with currywurst and chips (they're proper nice). We couldn't leave Seany and Tish to drown their sorrows alone so a quiet 1 o'clock finish, hurrah.
